Spain’s Islantilla Cinefórum to screen Iran’s ‘A Winner’

The 15th edition of the Islantilla Cinefórum Film Festival (Islantilla Cinefórum) in Spain has scheduled to screen Iranian short flick ‘A Winner’.

Made by Mehdi Mahaee, the short is about a female filmmaker who is on the verge of divorce, but she realizes something that puts her at a crossroads.

The film has so far gone on screen at a number of global events, including the Riverside International Film Festival in the US.

The Islantilla Cinefórum is a hub for film-lovers, inviting them to enjoy the most avant-garde audiovisual proposals in the best of settings on the beach.

It is an initiative promoted by the Mancomunidad de Islantilla in collaboration with various public and private entities.

Activities of the Islantilla Cinefórum take place during July and August to enjoy the night and the projections under the moonlight.

The 2022 edition of the Islantilla Cinefórum will be held in July and August 2022.
